Planning tool only

USA Stay Tracker (usastaytracker.com) is a personal planning aid. It counts days you enter and summarizes publicly known tests such as the 183-day calendar line, the IRS Substantial Presence Test, Form 8840, and typical provincial health presence rules. It is not a substitute for a lawyer, tax advisor, immigration consultant, accountant, or your provincial health ministry.

No professional relationship

Using this site does not create an advisor, fiduciary, attorney-client, or other professional relationship with the operator, owner, or anyone who contributed to the software. Nothing here is a recommendation that you travel, stay, file, or not file.

You are solely responsible

You alone are responsible for the dates you record, the settings you choose, every trip you book, every form you file or skip, and every conclusion you draw. Day counts, weighted totals, due dates, and flags can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. Tax, immigration, and health rules change. Confirm anything that matters with a qualified professional and the relevant government authority before you act.

Your data

Stays are stored in your browser on this device unless you export them. The operator does not need your travel history to run the public site. You are responsible for backups, for what you export, and for not sharing reports that contain personal information.
